Hi Fiona

You can have one shake for breakfast and then 1 hour before exercise if you haven’t had anything to eat for a while. We recommend that you have 6 small meals per day to encourage weight loss so you can have 2 shakes as part of your regime and you can time them with your exercise. E.g. have one for breakfast or morning tea and one before working out. If you ever do heavy weights then one straight after your workout aids in recovery.

You can have up to 3 shakes per day depending on what else you are having, it is best to maintain your 6 meals per day to increase your metabolic rate so if you don’t have time to prepare so many healthy snacks use the shakes to compensate.

Have you read our e-book? That might help you.

All the best - Grace

hi tony,I've just started trying your designer physique-naturelle.I've never taken a protein shake before. I do one spin class per week, and 2 gym classes a week. The gym classes include 20mins running, 15 crosstrainer, 10mins on the bike then 15mins doing light weights. If i'm not doing heavy weight training, do I take the naturelle upon waking, then before exercising? Do I also take it after exercising too? How much per day do I take if i want to loose weight but also tone (which is my main goal), thanks Fiona.

[...] Fuzzy is how I am feeling – my body is getting used to not having as much carbs (only complex from sweet potato) to fuel it and I can feel my body slowly changing gears to adapt… so will just see how I go. I have a good dose of vegetables for lunch with chicken (good ole roast leftovers still going strong) and breakfast from this morning has totally filled me up. Four eggs (haha didn’t mean to eat them all but cooked two in each ramekan dish and brought it all) spinach, avocado, tomato & 90g salmon. Drinking lots of water and have lots of healthy fruit, nuts as snacks for the rest of the day. Got my new protein powder in the post yesterday too – Tony Sfeir’s pea protein isolate, am excited to try! http://tonysfeir.com.au/products/naturel-healthy-proteins/pea-protein-isolate/ [...]

Hi Katrina
Lisa is one of our Affiliates and has suffered from Coeliac Disease, she has been through a lot and come through like a shining star.
I asked her to read your comments and help me with an answer.

Here's what she had to say...

Suffering from Coeliac Disease myself, I completely understand the pain and frustration that you've experienced. The pea protein is brilliant and gentle. I love this and even my children have some. They too have the same issues. Whilst some products offer a weight loss solution, protein is also the major building block for the body, especially when combined with higher glycaemic index carbohydrates. My daughter finally started to grow properly once we put her onto a gluten-free diet and supplemented her nutrition with Designer Physique. The pea protein was gentle for her, and we assisted her digestion with Immune Boost and Digestive Boost. The difference is quite remarkable.
I sincerely hope that you all start to experience better health soon - Lisa Demarte

Hi Brett

I'm so sorry for the late reply - hope your training is going well.
Lean boost will help you burn excess fat and will not inhibit muscle growth. If your objective is to build muscle then I would add Energy Boost (Creatine) making sure you use The Loading phase, maintenance phase and rest phase as specified. Hope this helps. Feel free to join us on facebook and ask questions www.facebook.com/designerphysique

I have coeliac disease, and a hypersensitive stomach, I am recovering from a serious reaction to a prescribed ant acid (proton pump inhibitor) which I didn't even think I needed. I feel like this drug has damaged my intestines and I already have enough trouble with absorbing food. On a weekend trip to the gold coast I found your product pea protein. Which I may add is fantastic, and i had no adverse reaction too. I am very under weight and have no energy. All the information on your site I have found is about weight loss which is understandable, what sort of program should you be on if you need to gain weight I do not exercise specifically as I run around after two little children all day. Other members of my family are also coeliac, IBS and fructose malabsorbtion so I will definitely be sending them all the info I can on your products.

Hi Brett
Always best before training say 15 to 30 minutes mixed in water or juice. You can also take it in the morning as soon as you get up.

Thank you for your support.
